Bloo develops a platform for mobile services, which uses mobile communication in an innovative way to achieve a unique positioning method called BlooAware.
BlooAware technology does not require mobile phones to have GPS nor Wifi, and yet it can locate a position accurately (to ~10 meters accuracy), even indoors. Bloo has a pending patent application for this unique technology.
Bloo is also developing rich mobile client applications based on the BlooAware technology; thus enabling the applications to be run on most available mobile phone models.
The first mobile application that Bloo will release is BlooFlirt.

Mats Lindoff

Honorary doctor Lund Institute of Technology 2007. Master of Science Electronic Engineering Lunds Institute of Technology.
Mats is one of the pioneers in mobile handset development. He started developing NMT phones in 1985 for Ericsson. He was the Chief Technology Officer for Sony-Ericsson in 2003-2009, responsible for research, technology strategy and key operator-customer relationship.
CEO for C Technology (now named Anoto) 2000-2002, a publicly listed company on the Swedish stock exchange based on an image stitching technology. Built up the company to 400 employers in Sweden and USA. 1998 – 2000, Executive Vice President of Ericsson, responsible for the business unit GSM terminals.
Prior to that, he held several R&D management positions both in Sweden and USA.
Currently, he is a board member in TAT, Scalado, Bloo and ResQu.

Joakim West

Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from both KTH and MIT.
Member of the Ericsson Group Excecutive Team between 2004 and 2008. Senior Vice President and responsible for Group Strategy, Group Purchasing, and Operational Excellence.
Between 2000 and 2004, Joakim worked as an entrepreneur developing his own companies, for example Absolent AB, a leading supplier of oilmist filters to industry with a turnover of more than 100 MSEK.
Before that, between 2000 and 2004, Joakim was Group Vice President and member of the Executive Management Group of AssaAbloy. At AssaAbloy, Joakim held several executive positions such as Head of Strategy and Business development including Mergers&Acquisitions, CIO, Head of Purchasing, etc.
Before 2000, Joakim was a Partner at the international management consulting firm Mckinsey & Co. working with large High Tech and Industrial clients on both strategic and operational issues.
Joakim previously served on the Boards of Telelogic AB, VKR Holding A/S, and SonyEricsson Mobile Communications AB. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Absolent AB.

Björn Olsson

Master of Science in Industrial Management and Engineering.
Björn has more than 25 years experience in the mobile and fixed/IT communications industry.
Björn was Executive Vice President and member of the Ericsson Group Executive Management Team between 2003 and 2008 and held several executive positions in Ericsson, including head of business unit divisions (Systems, Transmission, Cellular Systems American Standard and Broadband), Chief Information Officer and President of Joint Venture companies.
During 2006-2007, Björn lead the acquisition and the initial integration of several companies in the US/Silicon Valley. Björn has spent more than 10 years in executive positions in North America and Europe, leading early phase entrepreneurial businesses and large established companies.
He is currently on the board of directors of NeoPhotonics Corporation.
